Can clients rip the audio from the web player?
We make it genuinely unrewarding. The stream is served in encrypted chunks — there is no file URL to grab and no browser download until the paywall unlocks. And until your invoice settles, the stream carries an audible, repeating preview watermark, so even a capture of the player's output carries the watermark with it. No web player can make recording physically impossible; ours makes the recording worthless as a deliverable.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Clients open a link, press play, and leave timestamped comments — no signup, no password, no app. Accounts are for you, the studio; friction is for nobody.
How is “unlimited active projects” sustainable at $9?
Audio is small. A full album of 24-bit WAV masters is a rounding error next to the video files other platforms are built to move, and modern object storage costs cents per gigabyte. We build on that infrastructure directly and don't pass on legacy per-gigabyte markups — so we meter nothing on active work: no storage caps, no monthly upload allowances.
